First, a container ship journey from Laem Chabang to Portland is 30 days, not a week<br />Second, Durian will grow near sea level up to 1000 feet elevation, like in Uttaradit, but only if it is planted there. No wild durian is in the hills near Chiang Rai at an elevation where Lahu lived in 1997.<br /><br />I have been going to Thailand since 1967.
